1. What is the season start and end date?
Practice begins April 14th!
Games will be on Saturdays May 16th – June 20th.
2. When are the practice days, times, and location?
Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:00pm (4:30-5:30 for U8) at Kruse Elementary School.
SATURDAYS starting May 16- GAMES

4. How to register? What is the cost to join?
Registration is done through Rugby Xplorer. Go to the Hammers Registration page for step-by-step instructions on how to register on this new site.
Age Groups – ages as of September 1
- U8 – Ages 5-8
- U10 – Ages 9-10
- U12 – Ages 11-12
- U14 – Ages 13-14 (12 if over 135lbs)
The cost to join for the 2026 Spring season is:
U14 – $380.46*, $30 goes to USA Rugby Membership (Insurance), $11 to USA Rugby Youth, $190 goes to Rugby Colorado Membership (field rental, referee fees, and trainer fees for match days), $135 goes to Hammers Rugby Club (training field rental, equipment, and team set of jerseys), and $14.46 goes to Rugby Xplorer.
U10 &U12 – $318.09*, $30 goes to USA Rugby Membership (Insurance), $11 to USA Rugby Youth, $130 goes to Rugby Colorado Membership (field rental, referee fees, and trainer fees for match days), $135 goes to Hammers Rugby Club (training field rental, equipment), and $12.09 goes to Rugby Xplorer.
U8 – $202.70*, $5 goes to USA Rugby Membership (Insurance), $5 to USA Rugby Youth, $100 goes to Rugby Colorado Membership (field rental, referee fees, and trainer fees for match days), $85 goes to Hammers Rugby Club (training field rental, equipment), and $7.70 goes to Rugby Xplorer.
5. Team Store?
U8-12 players need to purchase shorts, socks and a jersey off of the O’Brien website.
U14 players only need to purchase shorts and socks – jerseys are provided on game day and returned after the game for cleaning.
6. How to get on Team App?
Go to www.TeamApp.com and download the mobile app to your phone. Create an account for both player (middle school) and parents. Search for “Hammers Rugby Club Youth” and Join.
