HAMMERS YOUTH RUGBY

Every Kid Deserves to Play

Ages 5-14 | Boys & Girls | No Experience Needed

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Welcome to the Hammers Rugby Club Youth Program! Our mission is to introduce the exciting sport of rugby to boys and girls aged 5 to 14 in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and active play. For our younger age groups (U8 and U10), the program is completely non-contact, using flags or touch rugby rules to ensure safety while learning the basics. No prior experience is needed, our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping every child discover their potential and love for the game!

Game Day & Practice Expectations

Arrive on time and be ready before warm-up begins.
Keep electronic devices (including phones) in bags during practice, warm-ups, and matches.
Let coaches know ahead of time if your player cannot attend.
On game days, players are expected to stay until all teammates have finished playing.
Players may occasionally be asked to help fill out another team’s roster, this is common in rugby and a great way to meet teammates from across the club!
